Several airlines are now offering Internet access, email, text messaging and corporate VPNs on some preffered routes in North America. The service is being provided by Aircell LLC through their brand ‘gogo’ which was launched earlier this year. gogo offers broadband Wi-Fi access on airplanes for Laptops, PDAs and Smartphones at $12.95 per session on an on-demand basis.
